Eccleston
Street, which cuts Chester Square in two, was built by Thomas Cubitt in 1835.
Its name comes from Eccleston in Cheshire, where the Duke of Westminster had an
estate.
It is a busy one-way street. (The traffic all goes north towards Hyde Park
Corner).
