Eccleston Mews

Map

Eccleston Mews is a very attractive cobbled mews on the east side of Belgrave Place. Its name comes from Eccleston in Cheshire, where the Duke of Westminster had an estate.

It is entered through an arched entrance with very pretty trees and shrubs and a small patch of grass on either side. It forms a cul-de-sac with mainly stuccoed houses. Some of the buildings are still garages. A few houses have first floor balconies.

Perhaps due to the width of the mews, it is light and open but for some reason there are far fewer flower displays here than in most mews.
